Dr. Apurba Mukherjee is an entrepreneur and an inventor. He has worked as

a Post-doctoral Fellow in the U.C. Berkeley. Dr. Mukherjee then joined the Nuclear Energy Division of General Electric Company in San Jose, California. Later, Dr. Mukherjee started a fiber optic company in Kolkata to produce medical fiber optics products as the Managing Director, which was acquired by the Govt. of West Bengal Electronic Industry Development Corporation. Afterwards, Dr Mukherjee started a medical fiber optics company

In Los Angeles and also worked as the President and CTO of C-Link Micro Imaging Inc. He invented a fiber optic technology based Micro Endoscope System for very

early detection of breast cancer (US patent 8,323,181 B2), and got FDA approval.
